Barbados Tridents will be looking to spoil Jamaica Kingsmen’s homecoming when the two teams meet at Sabina Park in Kingston at 7 p.m. today, as the Tridents begin their 2026 Caribbean Premier League campaign.

The Tridents will be eager to start on a winning note and heap further pressure on the Kingsmen, who suffered a narrow defeat to the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in their opening match on Friday.

“Every campaign is shaped by how you start it, and doing that on the road adds an extra edge. A strong result away from home sets a tone for the group. It tells everyone, players and fans alike, that this team means business from ball one,” said Andrew Richardson, team manager of the Barbados Tridents.
