(Kaieteur News) – The remote Amerindian community of Kangaruma, which is located in Middle Mazaruni, Region Seven is set to get its first ever nursery school building.
The Regional Democratic Council (RDC) of Region Seven in a recent invitation for bids is seeking contractors to undertake the construction of the nursery school building. According to the advertisement, the government has estimated the school project to cost $65.08 million.
This publication understands that Kangaruma Village never had a nursery school building of its own and the nursery classes are housed in the primary school building.
