The Trinibad artiste who had threatened supporters from a political party via TikTok videos three weeks before the General Election has been bonded in the sum of $5000 for two years.
During that time, 35-year-old Bradlee "Sai" Dhanaram has to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and if he breaches the bond he will return to the court for sentencing.
Dhanaram was arrested by police on April 11 and subsequently charged with making statements to influence public opinion in a manner likely to be prejudicial to public safety. The charges stemmed from his violent utterances via TikTok on April 8, in which he threatened members of the public from "the PNM stronghold," saying that he had invested in 100,000 tie traps and he and his crew will tie them with the straps on the night before elections.
