The Trinibad artiste who was arrested last Friday after allegedly threatening supporters of a particular political party, will appear in court this week.
Police said Bradlee Dhanaram, 35, of Agapito Trace, Santa Flora, is expected to be charged with making statements to influence public opinion in a manner likely to be prejudicial to public safety, contrary to Regulation 12(a) of the Emergency Powers Regulations, as per Legal Notice No 240 issued under the State of Emergency.
The green light to charge was given following consultation with the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Roger Gaspard, SC, on April 14.
