An off-duty police officer was shot and killed in Kelly Village, Caroni on Tuesday night.
The officer who was last attached to the Western Division died after gunmen opened fire while he was seated in his Nissan Tiida. He died at the scene.
A man suspected to be involved in the shooting was later pronounced dead after he was left at the Arima Health Facility by those in his company. They then abandoned their car in Maloney.
