Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley is “crying” because he has been called out on racist election campaign propaganda, says Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

The Prime Minister yesterday held a news conference where he blasted Persad-Bissessar for defending Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal against fresh allegations in the Estate Management and Business Development Company Ltd (EMBD) court matter, by saying it was “fabricated” and a racist strategy to campaign in the general election that “all them Indian is thief”.

Following the Prime Minister’s news conference, the Express contacted Persad-Bissessar for comment and asked if she still maintained her position that the development in the EMBD matter is election-driven and that it is for the People’s National Movement (PNM) to campaign that “all them Indian is thief”.
