A Ca­roni man was kid­napped by two men and tak­en to an un­known lo­ca­tion on Sun­day night, where he was beat­en and stabbed be­fore be­ing left for dead.

The 35-year-old labour­er of Fred­er­ick Set­tle­ment in Ca­roni was re­port­ed­ly walk­ing home around 10.30 pm when two men whom he knew from the area, drove past him and stopped.

The two sus­pects al­leged­ly grabbed the vic­tim and forced him in­to the back-seat of a black four door pick up van and took him to the home of an­oth­er man in the area who was al­so known to him.
