Of­fi­cers of the Traf­fic and High­way Pa­trol Branch (TH­PB) cracked down on er­rant mo­torists dur­ing a 48-hour road polic­ing op­er­a­tion that earned praise from Com­mis­sion­er of Po­lice Al­lis­ter Gue­var­ro.

Per­son­nel from the Debe and Freeport Units, along with of­fi­cers from oth­er sta­tion dis­tricts, car­ried out the ex­er­cis­es on Mon­day and Tues­day.

The op­er­a­tions tar­get­ed ma­jor thor­ough­fares, in­clud­ing the Sir Solomon Ho­choy High­way, Uri­ah But­ler High­way, Churchill Roo­sevelt High­way and Wright­son Road.
