Teen nabbed with 9mm ammo, 12-gauge cartridge in haversack

An 18-year-old was taken into custody on Wednesday following the discovery of one live 12-gauge cartridge and 18 live rounds of 9mm ammunition during an operation along the Hoff-Van-Aurich Public Road, Essequibo Coast.
Police stated that ranks intercepted a motor car and searched the teenager from Lima Sands, Essequibo Coast, who was seated in the front passenger seat with a haversack on his lap.
The search unearthed an Ensure bottle in a side pocket of the haversack, which contained the ammunition.
