Stuart: We’ll go after ‘bid rigging’

Port of Spain North/St Ann’s West MP Stuart Young says he will take legal action against cases of bid rigging and cartel-like behaviour by State entities in the awarding of Government contracts.
The Opposition MP made the comment while speaking with members of the media outside Parliament, Port of Spain, yesterday.
His comment followed the announcement by the Office of Procurement Regulation (OPR) on Thursday that it directed the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) to halt the award of $3.4 billion in housing contracts.
