Tears of joy, shouts of relief, and emotional embraces marked a day of high drama and gratitude for the families of 21-year-old Keeran Latchman and 18-year-old Ryan Singh, who were reunited with their families on July 23, just two days after the daring rescue of another kidnap victim, 44-year-old Satie Karim.
Latchman and Singh had gone missing on July 21, after leaving their D'abadie homes for Valencia to make a delivery. Latchman's vehicle was later found abandoned in Arouca. The two were recovered safely during what police described as a “precision-led, intelligence-driven operation” in Valencia.
According to a police statement dated July 23, intelligence led officers to a location in Valencia where two suspects were arrested in connection with the abduction. Police believe the suspects are part of a larger criminal network.
