Dream Weekend is entering a new chapter with its relocation from Negril to Montego Bay, a move organisers say is designed to reinvent and elevate the festival experience. At the press launch event held at Pier One on Wednesday night, Dream Weekend’s head of operations, Macheri Samuels, outlined plans for the 16-year-old festival’s five-day programme, describing it as the most ambitious staging to date.
Leading the entertainment package will be Dexta Daps, Alkaline, Govana, Montego Bay-born Tommy Lee Sparta and Shaniel Muir, who are set to headline the festival’s debut in the tourism capital. Organisers say patrons can expect the biggest production in Dream Weekend’s history.
“Every great brand has to keep evolving, and Dream Weekend has never stood still,” Samuels told guests at the press launch.
