Two Morvant men were arrested on Sunday during an anti-crime exercise in the area, after they were found with a firearm and ammunition and a quantity of marijuana trees exceeding the legal limit.
During the operation between 5 and 8 am, officials of the North Eastern Division (NED) Task Force, the NED Gang and Intelligence Unit, the San Juan CID, and the Canine Unit, executed search warrants at the home of a 44-year-old man at Upper St Francois Valley Road, Morvant.
During the search, officers found a Glock pistol fitted with a magazine containing ten rounds of 9 mm ammunition, together with an extra magazine containing ten rounds of 9 mm ammunition.
