7 cadavers found stored at property

SEVEN cadavers were found stored at a location off the Uriah Butler Highway, Freeport, on Thursday.

According to police, the discovery was made around 10.40 a.m. at a location south of Courts and adjacent to Conex Readymix Ltd.

Acting on information, a team consisting of Supt Haynes and Sgt Touissant of the Multi-Agency Task Force Unit, as well as personnel of the department of the Chief Medical Officer, the Environmental Management Authority, Town and Country Planning Division, and the Couva/Tabaquite/Talparo Regional Corporation, arrived at the location.
