THE 38 firearms recovered by police following the robbery at the San Fernando Municipal Police Station on Sunday may be less than half of the weapons stolen after the killing of officer Anuska Eversley at the facility.
An assessment is being done to determine if just over 100 firearms may have been taken from the station's armoury at King's Wharf, Lady Hailes Avenue along with 4,000 rounds of ammunition.
Acting Corporal Eversley was beaten, stabbed and strangled during the incident.
