A CARIBBEAN Airlines flight from Kingston, Jamaica, landed at New York’s John F Kennedy International Airport on Saturday with one extra passenger after a baby was born mid-flight.
Caribbean Airlines confirmed yesterday that the “medical event” occurred on flight BW005, stating that “a passenger gave birth while en route.”
“Upon arrival, the mother and newborn were attended to by medical personnel and are receiving the necessary care,” Caribbean Airlines stated.
