BABY Brandon was the first to be born in this country for 2026.
His birth occurred at 12.10 a.m. at the San Fernando General Hospital.
His mother Carla Blackman, speaking to the media who were at the hospital for the launch of the pilot project for the Bedside Birth Registration, praised the service she received at the hospital. Although a member of staff at the hospital, the mom of three did not believe this to be the reason for the high-quality treatment she received.
