ATTORNEY GENERAL John Jeremie says he is bothered by the fact that $1 billion is paid out to attorneys at a time when the rest of the society is suffering.
“That is something that causes me disquiet,” he said in a media interview after he was sworn in to the Cabinet of Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar yesterday at President’s House, St Ann’s.
Jeremie said some “adjustments” must be made in respect of that.
