Former attorney general Anand Ramlogan SC has praised the appointment of John Jeremie SC to the post of Attorney General, calling it a historic and well-timed move as Trinidad and Tobago grapples with a crisis in its justice system.
Jeremie, who previously served as AG from 2003 to 2007 and again from 2009 to 2010, was recently sworn in for an unprecedented third term.
Ramlogan, who served as attorney general under the People’s Partnership government from 2010 to 2015, offered praise for Jeremie in a statement to the media.
