One Communications stated on Tuesday that its mobile data and fibre internet services were restored at a reduced capacity following a disruption caused by a private company carrying out construction works along Carifesta Avenue, Georgetown.
According to the telecommunications company, contractors damaged a critical section of its fibre network at approximately 15:16h on Wednesday, affecting both mobile data and fibre internet services.
Technical teams responded immediately after the damage was identified, launching restoration efforts and implementing network rerouting measures to reduce the impact on customers.
