Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation chairman Josiah Austin arrived at the Eddie Hart Grounds in Tacarigua yesterday with what he said was a stop order to halt construction of a joint army-police post.
But he was heckled and jeered by a number of people at the site and work continued on the foundation structure of the post.
Austin told reporters he was waiting for the corporation’s engineer to serve the document, as he—a political appointee—was unable to do so himself.
