More than 204,000 Guyanese have completed government transactions through service centres now operating in six regions, sparing them the time and cost of travelling to Georgetown for important services like the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) and General Register Office (GRO).
The rollout began in Leonora, Region Three last December and has since expanded to Regions Two, Five, Six, Seven and Nine.
This was highlighted by the Minister of Public Service, Government Efficiency and Implementation, Zulfikar Ally, during a recent interview with the Department of Public Information (DPI).
