A woman was charged with the sexual penetration of a girl she was babysitting.

She was one of six people arrested by the Special Victims Department (SVD) during a recent “Operation Beacon” exercise conducted across several divisions, the police reported Thursday. 

Reports indicate that the accused, who was employed as a babysitter, allegedly committed the offences against a 15-year-old girl. She appeared before the Chaguanas Master’s Court on five counts of sexual penetration and was granted bail with surety in the sum of $125,000. The matter was adjourned to May 6, 2026.
