Legal action is brewing over the “unlawful closure” of the Breakfast Shed by the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT).
In a pre-action protocol letter dated September 29, attorney Kenneth Munroe Brown accused UDeCOTT’s board of being misled by its Chief Executive Officer regarding the eviction of vendors at the Breakfast Shed.
Brown is acting on behalf of the co-owners and former presumed tenants of the popular food court located next to the Hyatt on the Port of Spain Waterfront.
