More than 150 people have already registered for track and field at this year’s National Senior Games, with organisers expecting numbers to climb following Saturday’s official launch.
Sports advisor Ytannia Wiggins said the Games now feature 25 sporting disciplines and encouraged more Barbadians to register.
“The numbers are looking good. We suspect that that will go up after our launch on Saturday,” she said.
