Police have arrested two men following a break-in at a clothing store in San Fernando early Monday morning.
Around 2.45 a.m., officers on patrol near Presentation College intercepted a silver Nissan Almera driven by one of the suspects, with a second suspect in the vehicle. A search of the car revealed a quantity of brand-name clothing, sneakers, costume jewelry, and burglary tools including a crowbar and bolt cutters. Both men were arrested and taken to the San Fernando Police Station along with the recovered items.
The store owner, who operates “The Lux Ave” on Lord Street, reported that her store had been secured on Sunday evening but was found broken into around 5 a.m. Monday. Entry was gained by cutting a lock on the northern side of the building. Several items were missing, with their value yet to be determined.
