Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar, SC, has extended condolences to the loved ones of 19-year-old Deshawn Joseph, who lost his life in a tragic accident on Tuesday night.
In a social media statement, the Prime Minister described the incident as deeply heartbreaking, noting the profound loss of a young man who had set out to earn an honest living to support his family but did not return home.
Deshawn was fatally crushed beneath a garbage truck while performing his duties as a sanitation worker in Kelly Village, Caroni.
