A 19-year-old new father-to-be was killed in a horrific freak accident on Tuesday night after he was crushed beneath a garbage truck while working as a sanitation worker in Kelly Village, Caroni.

Dead is Dishun Joseph, of Claxton Bay, whose tragic death has left relatives and friends in mourning. Joseph also leaves behind a girlfriend who is four months pregnant with their child.

According to information obtained, the incident occurred around 9:12 p.m. on May 26 while Joseph was working alongside a garbage truck operated by the sanitation company that employed him.
