United National Congress (UNC) Chaguanas West MP Dinesh Rambally yesterday withdrew his bid for the Chaguanas West seat in the 2025 general election.

Rambally cited “divisive racial rhetoric” from the party as having influenced his decision and stated that for years he has “tolerated unprofessionalism, poor judgment, and internal dysfunction in the leadership”.
