Over the last nine months, the management and governance of majority State-owned Point Lisas Industrial Port Development Corporation Ltd (PLIPDECO) have come under intense scrutiny over procurement procedures and transparency.
During this time, a number of senior executives have either been sent on administrative leave, have retired, or resigned.
PLIPDECO’s troubles have snowballed since then-chairman Daniel Dookie placed former president Ashley Taylor on administrative leave in July 2024.
