Drilling services company Well Services has announced that it has "initiated a comprehensive investigation" into the partial collapse of Well Services Rig 110.
The partial collapse occurred on December 22 but following the evacuation rig worker Pete Phillip, 45, was missing. A search was initiated but Phillip's remains have not been recovered to date. He left behind four children and a pregnant wife who is due to deliver soon.
Well Services in a release Friday said the investigation into the partial collapse "involves the engagement of independent parties to ensure objectivity, neutrality, and credibility in the process".
