Divers contracted by Well Services Petroleum Company Ltd have failed to recover the remains of missing rig worker Pete Phillip. And his loved ones have started the New Year with little hope of closure.

Phillip’s family wished to have a send off for the 45-year-old father of six before the end of the year.

In a telephone interview yesterday, Phillip’s younger brother, Elvis Phillip, lamented that at the close of the year, there was no news on the recovery operation. He said the last update from the company came three days ago.
