Well Ser­vices says it has ini­ti­at­ed a com­pre­hen­sive in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to the par­tial col­lapse of “Well Ser­vices Rig 110” which claimed the life of work­er, Pe­te Phillip.

The com­pa­ny says the in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­volves "the en­gage­ment of in­de­pen­dent par­ties to en­sure ob­jec­tiv­i­ty, neu­tral­i­ty, and cred­i­bil­i­ty in the process."

In a state­ment on Fri­day af­ter­noon, Well Ser­vices said, "Our teams con­tin­ue to work dili­gent­ly in co­or­di­na­tion with the rel­e­vant au­thor­i­ties and part­ners to en­sure the sal­vage and re­cov­ery ef­forts pro­ceed as ef­fi­cient­ly and safe­ly as pos­si­ble."
