A 27-year-old security officer who attempted to part a domestic dispute, ended up being chopped in her face.
The incident took place at about 10.15 a.m. on Sunday along Diamond Road in Claxton Bay.
The victim told police she heard an argument between her sister and her brother-in-law. She went to de-escalate the situation, however, the 33-year-old man grabbed a nearby cutlass and swung it. The 27-year-old was struck in the left side of her face.
