The payment of a $1 million ex gratia payment to the families of the four deceased LMCS divers and survivor, Christopher Boodram, is simply a “cheap gesture” designed to “score political points”, says attorney Anand Ramlogan SC.
Freedom Law Chambers led by Ramlogan represents the family of diver Rishi Nagessar and Christopher Boodram.
In a statement on Thursday, Ramlogan said the families would welcome the payment of $1 million each, but there was nothing to congratulate the Government about as it was “too little, too late”
