The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation today announced the temporary closure of the Guaico Licensing Office following the death of Motor Vehicle Officer Keone Brathwaite in a fatal road accident along the Cumuto Main Road.

Brathwaite, 42, of Chaguanas, died around 7.13 a.m. after the motorcycle he was riding collided head-on with a black Honda Vezel SUV along the Cumuto stretch.

Video footage circulating online reportedly showed the SUV overtaking a truck and entering the lane of the oncoming motorcycle moments before the collision.
