Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander has voiced support for the Prime Ministerās recent comments on what she described as lawless behaviour displayed on social media, saying the issue also highlights the need for individuals to take greater responsibility for their actions and conduct online.
He warned that such behaviour displayed publicly can have consequences long after the moment has passed, particularly in an era where social media records and circulates content indefinitely.
āRemember when your behaviour is displayed on the nations streets it is kept in social media for a long time. Explain that to your son or your daughter in a couple of years from now. Mommy that was you, is you behaving so, mommy what you had on there? If you can deal with that, what can I say.ā
