A 24-year-old welder was grant­ed bail with sure­ty in the sum of $300,000 on Tues­day af­ter he was charged with sex­u­al pen­e­tra­tion, sex­u­al touch­ing, and ex­pos­ing child to pornog­ra­phy.

The ac­cused is to re­port to the Princes Town Po­lice Sta­tion once per work, stay 1000 feet away from the vic­tim, to re­main out of the Siparia Dis­trict and is to have no com­mu­ni­ca­tion with the vic­tim di­rect­ly or in­di­rect­ly. He is ex­pect­ed to reap­pear in court on May 13.

Po­lice re­ports in­di­cate that on May 3 around 3:20 am the vic­tim was at home at Clarke Road, Pe­nal when the sus­pect of­fered him a drink af­ter which he as­sault­ed him.
