COMMISSIONER of Police Allister Guevarro has launched an investigation into a video which was posted to social media over the weekend showing a marked police vehicle being used to transport an unidentified woman to what appears to be a social event, possibly a graduation.

According to a press release issued yesterday, Guevarro was made aware of the video on Sunday and it has since been confirmed that the vehicle in question falls under the operational purview of the Assistant Commissioner of Police South/Central Wayne Mystar. As a result, the Commissioner has instructed that formal reports be submitted to him regarding the matter, which has understandably attracted public interest.
