ToÂbaÂgo poÂlice are huntÂing for a man who alÂlegedÂly left a poÂlice ofÂfiÂcer’s child hosÂpiÂtalÂized, in critÂiÂcal conÂdiÂtion, afÂter a hit-and-run acÂciÂdent in Black Rock on SunÂday night.
The 12-year-old child, whose mothÂer is atÂtached to the ScarÂborÂough PoÂlice StaÂtion, is curÂrentÂly unÂderÂgoÂing surgery.
PoÂlice told Guardian MeÂdia, the driÂver fled the scene afÂter hitÂting the child, abanÂdonÂing the veÂhiÂcle.
