A firearm and five rounds of ammunition were reportedly found in the home of a deceased 90-year-old Kuru Kururu resident on Friday.
Based on reports received, a 39-year-old craftsman was cleaning the home of his late relative when he discovered a brown cardboard box containing a silver-coloured revolver and five matching rounds of ammunition.
As such, he contacted the Kuru Kururu Police Outpost and reported the matter. The Officers subsequently took possession of the firearm and ammunition, which will be further examined as investigations continue.
