A MAN who police believed to be a contract killer, and who was wanted in connection with multiple violent crimes, was fatally shot during a confrontation with police officers early yesterday.

The man was identified as Akeem Kingsale, also known as “Forty”, of Penal Rock Road in Penal.

According to a release from the police, the fatal confrontation occurred around 1 a.m. at an apartment complex on Battoo Avenue in Marabella.
