The United National Congress’ (UNC) prospective candidate for Tunapuna, Roger Alexander, wants to reduce the age requirement of applicants for firearm user’s licences (FULs).
He stated that the proposed policy would be particularly applicable to personnel in law enforcement, including police officers, army personnel, Coast Guard officers and prison officers.
Alexander made the comment yesterday during a walkabout on Phillip Trace, at the corner of Coconut Drive and Maingot Road, Tunapuna.
