In her address to Caribbean leaders during the opening of Caricom's 50th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government in St Kitts and Nevis on Tuesday night, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar extended an invitation to Caricom citizens to partake in the fruit of two major development projects she says the Government plans to open in the near future.
The Prime Minister urged students to 'take advantage' of educational opportunities on the island, citing the opening of the new University of the West Indies (UWI) Debe campus.
Persad-Bissessar indicated that the Government hoped to open the campus by September, more than ten years after it was first conceptualised.
