St Andrew man charged with fraud after buying car and reclaiming $780,000 bank transfer

The police have charged a 31-year-old St Andrew man who allegedly bought a car, paid for it using a bank transfer and then disputed the transaction with his bank and got back his money.

Charged with obtaining goods by false pretence is Trevor Lewis.

The police report that in April, a man reportedly sold Lewis a 2012 Hyundai Elantra motor car for $780,000, which was paid by bank transfer.
