An un­em­ployed Laven­tille man was mur­dered on Fri­day night in a sus­pect­ed gang re­lat­ed shoot­ing.

Po­lice said Clin­ton Sim­mons (com­mon­ly called “Bun­ty”) of Mc Shine Lands, Laven­tille, was shot dead around 9:50 pm.

Po­lice re­port­ed that the 50-year-old man was found dead at a house at So­gren Trace, Laven­tille af­ter res­i­dents re­port­ed hear­ing gun­shots.
