LoÂcal rum proÂducÂer AnÂgosÂtuÂra is givÂing a ChristÂmas gift to conÂsumers and reÂtailÂers this year, anÂnouncÂing price reÂducÂtions on their rum prodÂucts for the seaÂson.
This comes afÂter the GovÂernÂmentâs earÂliÂer inÂcrease in exÂcise duÂties on alÂcoÂhol, which led to highÂer prices on alÂcoÂhol prodÂucts.
In a reÂlease, the comÂpaÂny said that beÂginÂning yesÂterÂday, prices for its rum prodÂucts would be reÂduced. These speÂcial ChristÂmas prices will reÂmain in efÂfect unÂtil DeÂcemÂber 31, 2025.
