Man shot dead in Carlsen Field

A 53-year-old mechanical engineer was shot dead in Carlsen Field on Tuesday evening.

Police identified the victim as Raidal Persad of Tigress Road, Riverview Park, Montrose, Chaguanas. He worked at Methanex Ltd.

Around 5.45 pm, officers at the Freeport Police Station received a call from an anonymous informant about a man shot in a white Audi at Pipecon Road, Carlsen Field.
