A 61-year-old Arouca man is lucky to be alive after he was robbed, kidnapped, and thrown from his own car along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway on Sunday night.
Police said around 11:30 p.m., the victim of Arouca, was sitting in his Chevy Optra when he was ambushed by two men, one armed with a gun.
The armed man ordered him out of the car and onto the roadway, threatening his life. The second suspect then forced him into the back seat while the gunman took control of the vehicle.
