A man identified only as “Jay” was shot and killed during a robbery in Arouca early Tuesday morning.
Police said the incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. when officers on mobile patrol along the Priority Bus Route were flagged down by a man who reported a shooting. The officers accompanied him to the scene at 87 Sunset Drive, off First Street, Five Rivers, where they found the victim lying in a pool of blood.
The deceased bore gunshot wounds to the head and abdomen.
